Our Beliefs
We believe:
...In the Bible as the inspired and only infallible and authoritative word of God.
...In one God, eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
...In the deity of the Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious, atoning death, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of God the Father, and in His personal return to receive the Church as His bride, and in His reign in power and glory forever.
...the only means of salvation and cleansing from sin is through repentance and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and His shed blood, and confession of Jesus as Lord.
...In water baptism of born-again Christians by immersion in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
...In the sanctifying power of the blood of Jesus, the Word of God and the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a holy life.
...In the baptism in the Holy Spirit and speaking in other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance, according to Acts 2:4, and that the gifts of the Spirit are available and functional in the church today.
...In the redemptive work of Christ on the cross as providing healing for the whole man: spirit, mind and body, and the healing is available through believing prayer and faith in God.
...In Scriptural praise and worship unto the Lord, in spirit and in truth in word and in song, in the Spirit and with understanding, with instruments and dance, with lifting and clapping the hands, and that God inhabits the praises of His people.
...In expelling evil spirits in the name and authority of Jesus Christ; concerning this, that born- again Christians cannot be demon possessed.
...In the resurrection of the dead, both the saved and the lost, the one to everlasting life in heaven and the other to everlasting damnation in hell.
...In the fellowship of all members of the body of Christ, and that all Christians are to assemble regularly with the local church and contribute to its support through tithes and offerings. |
